Boat Carpet, Flooring, Cabinets, and Countertops
We've worked on all types of boats. Whatever you're planning below deck - new flooring, new cabinets, a fresh countertop, or the whole interior - the scope is built around your boat, and the estimate is free.
A Home Center on the Connecticut River
River's Edge sits at 100 Bridge Rd in Haddam, right beside the East Haddam Swing Bridge. Boats have been part of the work here for a long time, and it isn't a sideline we outsource - the same crew that installs floors and hangs cabinets in Connecticut River Valley homes does the work on the water, too.
That matters most when it comes time to choose materials. A boat interior asks different questions than a living room does: moisture, sun, salt if you're on the Sound, and a floor that moves under you. Come into the showroom and we'll walk the samples with you and talk through what suits your boat and how you actually use it - not just what looks good under showroom lights.
What We Do on Boats
Take one item or all of them - most boat jobs are some combination.
Boat Carpet
Cabin and cockpit carpet, cut and fitted to your boat rather than trimmed from a room-sized plan. We'll help you weigh comfort against how hard the space gets used.
Boat Vinyl Flooring
Waterproof vinyl for the areas that get wet and stay wet - galleys, heads, and anywhere you'll be walking aboard soaked. Easy to wipe down, easy to live with.
Boat Hardwood Flooring
For the boat that deserves real wood below deck. We'll talk through species and finish, and be straight with you about where wood is the right call and where it isn't.
Boat Cabinets
Galley and cabin cabinetry built to fit the space you have. Boats rarely offer a square corner, so storage gets designed around the hull instead of dropped into it.
Boat Countertops
Galley and wet-bar countertops templated and fitted to your boat, in the same surface options you'd find on our showroom floor.
All Types of Boats
Powerboats, sailboats, cruisers, sportfish, houseboats - if there's an interior to finish, bring it to us. Tell us what you have and what you want done.
Every Boat Project Is Customized
There is no package price for a boat, because there is no standard boat. The scope depends entirely on what you're looking to have done - a single cabin floor is a very different job from a full galley refit, and two boats of the same length can need completely different work.
So we start the way we start every project: come in, tell us about the boat, and we'll put together a scope and a number. Estimates are always free, on the water or on land, and you'll be talking to Lou and Louie directly rather than to a call center.
Pick Your Materials in Person, Not From a Swatch Book
Most marine shops hand you a small book of samples and ask you to imagine the rest. We have a 4,000 sq ft showroom on the Connecticut River in Haddam, so you can see and handle full-size carpet, waterproof vinyl, and hardwood samples, plus cabinet doors and countertop surfaces, before you commit to anything.
It's the same showroom, the same suppliers, and the same installers behind our kitchen and bathroom work - and the same single point of contact from the first conversation to the last piece of trim. That's how we run every job.
